The Big Day
Alright… this is it. The main event. The point where things start to get a little weird.
Dress code: black. That’s the only rule—but we mean BLACK.
Not “black with a white shirt.” Not “mostly black.”
Black on black on black.
Go classy, go gothic, go desert outlaw, go full vampire biker—we don’t care… just keep it dark. If you’re questioning it, it’s probably not black enough.
We’re kicking things off at The Cosmopolitan, where we’ll all pile onto a party bus loaded with booze, snacks, and just enough questionable decision-making to set the tone. From there, we head out—away from the lights, away from the noise—45 minutes into the desert toward Goodsprings, Nevada. A real ghost town. The kind of place where the air feels a little off and time doesn’t move quite right.
The ceremony? Short and to the point. No long speeches. No standing around wondering when it ends. We’ll say our “I do’s” out at a desert trailhead—wind, dust, and whoever (or whatever) decides to show up—then just like that… it’s done. Married. And we move on.
From there, we head straight to the legendary Pioneer Saloon. All-you-can-eat BBQ, open bar, and a building that’s seen more than its fair share of stories. Eat, drink, wander around, and take in the ghost town vibes while we grab photos. If you feel like something’s watching you in the background… just roll with it.
After a few hours—once the drinks are flowing, the sun starts dropping, and things feel just a little heavier—we load back onto the bus and head toward the Strip. Quick stop at the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign for photos… because at this point, why wouldn’t we?
Back at The Cosmopolitan, you’ll have about an hour to regroup, recharge, and possibly question a few life choices.
And this is where things shift.
The formal part of the night is over.
Because yes—we will be changing into full Halloween costumes.
Costumes are optional for you… but highly encouraged. This is Halloween night in Vegas after all. Go subtle if you want… or go completely off the rails.
Then we meet back up—no longer dressed for a wedding, but for whatever comes next—and head out into the night. First stop: the old strip—Fremont Street. Then we make our way back to the chaos of the new strip.
Somewhere between the desert, the ghosts, and the neon lights, things may get a little strange.
“Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
